I’ve been surprised by the number of people who assume that our science bookclub is for children rather than adults. I specifically tried to market everything in a more “adult” way, but we still get questions on if adults can sign up. I think the understanding is that “Science” is something you learn in school, not something you learn informally. Since it reminds them of Science class in school, they assume it’s for children. Once we get past that hurdle I’ve had great success!
