Reply To: Unit 7: Science Learning


We had several people whose interests were piqued after reading a book, “tapping into one’s curiosity” For instance, after reading Arctic Drift, one person researched the author’s science foundation and brought that information to the discussion.
We had one reader who worked in the noxious weed department for the county and she had a lot to share of the data she has collected and analyzed about weed control. She came especially to the “When the Killings Done discussion because this was a personalized part of her science learning and discovery.
Most of the participants asked questions of one another, and the science partner, to better understand different viewpoints and what scientific evidence there was on the given subjects.
