I really enjoyed finding fun food and activity parings to go along with each theme/book/every-day life video! Some of the discussion that was created broke the sterotype of what we are used to at the library. I struggled with people reading the book before the program, but did have some go back and read after-the-fact. Even with people not reading they still got heavily invested in the discussion. Especially ‘killing or not killing the rats’ in Boyle’s “When the Killing’s Done.”
I find the time constraints on when we can hold the programs a difficult aspect. We have so much happening at our library that it makes finding room space a challenge.
