DeMary Library will read “Station Eleven” as well. Our community is very big on traditions, and we have a long list of those we hold dear. In the book there is importance in remembering and holding on to our cultural history, and as the story goes back and forth in time it shows both the way things were and also the new traditions that formed as humanity attempted to put the world back together. Talking about how traditions begin and evolve will be relevant and interesting for my participants, and I can also see some interesting discussions on the science of rebuilding a civilization.
