We are planning to do “Tradition” in December and after a careful review of the suggested books, we have decided to go with John Grisham’s “Skipping Christmas.” We have had good luck with a couple of book clubs that revolve around food and I see a couple posts that reflect that at other libraries. So our plan is to make a meal that might match the details in the book for the dinner they put together.
I am also having a difficult time getting my science partner to respond to my emails so I may need to change that person. I think we can discuss food and tradition, use the provided video, and try to discover some science-oriented details in the book and end up with quite a lively discussion. (After all, cooking is science).
Do you find this acceptable?
